We are excited to introduce this year’s limited production drum set. This five piece set is handcrafted from solid Bocote. Cordia alliodora, the botanical reference, originates in Central America. Bocote (ba-co-tay) is often referred to as Mexican Rosewood and possesses much of the same qualities as Honduran Rosewood: rich lows, crisp attack, and a very definable fundamental note.
The drum set features our Artisan Isolation Mounting system (A.I.M.) which solidly supports the drum with no additional drilled holes into the shell. A.I.M. ties into two top lugs and uses a bump stop against the lower shell for lateral support. The A.I.M. system also allows for quick changes of drum heads on the stand and blends aesthetically with the drums. Artisan Drumworks solid, brushed brass single point lugs on toms and bass drum, single point tube lugs on snare, Trick 3-way strainer, Puresound snare wires, die-cast hoops, oil and wax finish, and Remo heads cap it off.
